On 28 May 2024, ADAP invited you to its new event, in collaboration with the Fédération Genevoise de Coopération (FGC): a round table on “Development projects: solutions to the climate emergency”!
The Fédération Genevoise de Coopération, in partnership with the Ville de Genève and the Haute Ecole du paysage, d’ingénierie et d’architecture de Genève (HEPIA), organised an evening on the theme of climate change and development cooperation.
On Tuesday 28 May 2024, started at 5pm in the HEPIA hall, ADAP was there alongside many other FGC member organisations (ASCEAS-GE, CETIM, emp’ACT, FH Suisse, IRHA, Tereo, urbaMonde and PSA) to present their work and answer all your questions.
This was an opportunity to meet our team, who was delighted to present our projects in Tanzania and also to buy Miombo honey from Western Tanzania, which is produced by beekeepers supported by ADAP’s projects.
At 7pm, the round table looked at the impact of global warming and the solutions provided by development projects. A number of political and scientific speakers will set the scene, followed by various speakers from FGC member NGOs, who talked about the impact of climate change on projects and the adaptation solutions proposed, in particular through agro-ecology and better management of forests and biodiversity.
ADAP was delighted to see you !
